The next 1 hour meeting of the GSE UK Large Systems Working Group, will take place on Wednesday 8th September 2021 via Zoom – session will run from 13:00 to 14:00 (UK time). This meeting is free to attend and is open to both GSE member companies and non-members.
In this session we will discuss the latest z/OS 2.5 enhancements. We will cover enhancements to usability, scalability, performance, availability, application development, systems management, security and networking.
This session will be presented by Gary Puchkoff from IBM. Gary is an experienced Operating Systems and Technology Visionary with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He is the creator of WebSphere Application Server on z/OS, inventor of z Application Assist Processor, Architect of z/OS Management Facility, and creator of z/OS Container Extensions for running Linux workloads directly in z/OS.
